Capture What's Important
We have been in the radio control aircraft industry for over thirty years as a hobbyist and information technology since 1996, working as a web developer and network administrator. Veteran owned and operated, we began offering aerial photography services for real estate, construction, agriculture and many other areas of business since this type of technology is so versatile.
We utilize the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 107 certification process to become licensed Small Unmanned Aerial System (SUAS) pilots. This allows us to perform commercial SUAS operations for our customers. As a Private Pilot and RC hobbyist, being part of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) provides an immense amount of training and resources in the aviation industry and adds related experience.
As a typical approach to any project, determining the customers needs is sometimes a daunting task. Laying out the groundwork to any project is an efficient method to turn ideas into something tangible.
Storyboarding is generally a good way to gather the information and put it on paper to see how it will all work together. Combining these methodologies with systems like Lean Six Sigma and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), brings the concept to life.
Once the process starts to take shape, it's easier to manage the particular details that will make it stand out, so feedback is always appreciated and accepted as positive encouragement. The drones will do the heavy lifting with automated software that will plot courses for the perfect shots that may be included in your aerial mapping project!
